    Rakovski, Plovdiv region
    A course designed for wood lovers, novice builders of wooden structures, as well as for people who are about to build such structures. Two days filled with theory and practice. The main topics of the course will be:
    – getting to know basic hand and power tools used in carpentry;
    – how to read construction drawings;
    – preparation of a construction drawing;
    – selection and optimization of the necessary materials;
    – preparation and processing of the wooden elements by working with tools;
    – proper selection of fasteners;
    – assembly of the structure.

  • Construction carpentry training course in Rakovski, Bulgaria on 16-17.03.2024; 23-24.03.2024; 13-14.04.2024; 20-21.04.2024, and 11-12.05.2024 – a course designed for beginner builders, for wood lovers, as well as for people who are about to build wooden structures. Two days filled with theory, practice and applications, discussions, tests, and introductions. The main topics will be:
    • what is construction carpentry and its evolution over the years;
    • advantages and disadvantages of wooden structures;
    • types of timber (characteristics, comparison, cost, and processing);
    • types of connections between elements, their purpose, and their correct use in different cases;
    • technical characteristics of different insulation materials and their compatibility with wood;
    • condensation prevention and thermal bridges in walls and roofs;
    • types of facades and their compatibility with different wall systems;
    • types of roof coverings;
    • operation life of the various structures and insulations;
    • a set of tools for construction carpentry up to 100, 500, and 1000 BGN.
  • Construction with natural materials fair with guest speakers in the village of Stob 06 – 09.08.2022
    • Presentation of the Multiimpex Bulgarian clay plasters – varieties, characteristics, field of application;
    • Lecture by Dimitar Mihailov about hempcrete, followed by a practical part – building a wall with hempcrete;
    • Lecture by Ivan Ganchev on the foundations of health – light, sleep, nutrition, and water;
    • Lectures and hands-on activities on mixing clay, making cobs, placing creep formwork, rammed earth, and much more.
  • Construction with natural materials fair with practical activities in the village of Dobarsko 10 – 14.08.2022
    • We used what we learned in the village of Stob about laying clay plasters, building wall thermal insulation with straw bales, building partition walls with light clay, and applying it in practice in 3 houses being built from natural materials at the time of the fair;
  • Summer children’s camp 2022
    • Lots of fun, interesting challenges, outdoor activities, and learning some practical skills for living in Nature.
